Owners – Art & Barbara Paul
Art and Barbara’s journey began as high school sweetheart’s at Analy High School in Sebastopol and has culminated in a thriving family business. They are proud that they have raised their two daughters, Kris and Sue here on the apple ranch just as Art was as a small boy. Art’s love of classic cars is evident when he is hauling grapes in his 1953 Chevy truck and pallets of wine on his 1946 GMC flatbed. Barbara is a realtor in Sebastopol serving her customers for the past 18 years. Art and Barbara feel blessed to continue the family farming tradition along with their children and grandchildren.

Wine Maker – Nick Legg
Nick is highly accomplished with almost 20 years of progressive achievement in the diverse wine regions of Sonoma and Napa counties. His career began in the Napa Valley in 1990, after a stint in the U.S. Army. He rose through the cellar ranks to cellar master while earning his wine making degree. In 2000, Nick relocated to Sonoma County for an opportunity to be an assistant winemaker, a position he still holds. Heavy on experience, Nick has applied his considerable skills to give the Graton Ridge wines their distinctive character.

General Manager – Sue Bonzell
Sue grew up on the Paul Family farm and as a child sold fresh apples and juice at the roadside stand. She made her way to Cal Poly San Luis Obispo to earn a Bachelor of Science in Graphic Design. Upon returning to Sebastopol, Sue started her own graphic design and marketing company which she ran for ten years. Sue has brought her talents as a designer and marketing manager back to the farm where the family business has again become a way of life.
Sue is also an on-air personality for local radio station 100.1 KZST where she profiles all of the events happening in Sonoma County for each week. You can catch her on Fridays at 7:40am.

Brianna is our go-to-gal for everything Wine Club and hospitality! She has a business degree from Sonoma State University and has fully embraced the wine industry!

Tasting Room Manager – Greg Paulsen
Greg’s true love in life is his family; two beautiful daughters and his incredible wife, Patricia. He loves spending time with them, whether it’s cooking, gardening, bicycling, or sharing a great bottle of wine. After 36 years of sales and marketing for Safeway, Greg has added Graton Ridge Cellars to his family. He really enjoys the atmosphere in the tasting room and especially his customers. Come in and have a glass of wine with Greg, and join the family too.
